Jacob Ball is the Executive Director of the Bluegrass AgTech Development Corp (BADC), where he leads efforts to grow Kentucky’s AgTech economy through innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. A native of Culvertown, Kentucky, Jacob brings 14+ years of experience in agricultural education and program development. He previously launched the agriculture program at Carter G. Woodson Academy, connecting underrepresented students to real-world AgTech careers. A National Board Certified Teacher and Milken Educator Award recipient, Jacob has earned national recognition for his work in agricultural education. He holds degrees from the University of Kentucky and the University of the Cumberlands and serves as Treasurer of the UK Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Alumni Board. At BADC, he oversees strategic initiatives, the Challenge Grant program, and partnerships that support emerging startups across the Commonwealth.
