Description
2020 will be a year to remember for international trade with Covid-19. So much uncertainty has been thrown into the mix that it has been difficult to manage and companies have had to adapt quickly. International Contracts were complicated before the pandemic and have only gotten more complicated as companies shift to new suppliers & partners to better manage supply chain disruptions.
Jeffery Langer, General Counsel, for Zoeller Company will lead our Trade Chat, “Contracting for International Business in the New Uncertainty” where he will cover the trouble spots for contracts:
- The unexpected “contract”
- The “battle of the forms”
- Arbitration versus civil litigation
- Intellectual property considerations
- Anti-bribery
Jeffery will then walk us through how Covid-19 has affected contracts and the key considerations companies need to look for when establishing or updating international contracts.
