Importing products into the United States from across the world can be a complicated process, and requires individuals to understand and follow certain laws and regulations. The last thing one wants to do is classify an imported product incorrectly which could result in delays, loss of product at the border, and/or additional duties or taxes. Attend our bootcamp to become a "Certified Importer" from the World Trade Center Kentucky.
The importer bootcamp covers topics for the established business interested in buying and selling in international markets, and for entrepreneurs who are ready to start their own import business here in the United States. Our bootcamp will provide attendees with understanding the obligations of the importer, harmonized tariff schedule (HTS) classification, tariff and tax calculations, valuation, international logistics, incoterms, payment, documentation, and more! We will also connect you to our network of local resources to help your company import, and get your product to the U.S. market.
